The Playstation Game Enhancer Version 7 has many great enhancements that go beyond the abilities of the Game Shark.  If you are having trouble with the MODCHIP feature, please go over the following helpful hints.

• Did you insert the spring into the Playstation?
• Did you make sure the switch on the enhancer was up?
• Did you make sure your disk is of good quality?
• Did you read the instructions?
• What can I do if my Playstation won't boot up back-up disks?
  • The disk is worn or bad in some way (incompatible software for back-ups, incorrect size, scratched, etc.
  • The console is older and your lens is worn and can only read high quality disks
• Check installed codes at:
  • The Cheat Vault
  • Gamecopy World
• Try to boot the game up with a disk from the same company.
• If you have a 1001 or any old unit with skipping, freezing or the game will not boot disks, OR the Playstation boots disks very slow, then put the Playstation on it's side and you will see the performance improve.
